NO.... WoW is evil I swear i went into game got demo when FFXI was going badly I mean real bad no invites LS trouble after about 8 gaming hours over 4/5 days I was back in FFXI.
I MEAN WTF?? I mean a PLD in WoW is absolutely bo??oks weird < if any > hate holding? no party structure?

I just hope WotG revives my interest in XI, otherwise I'll be in Feba's club; looking for a new MMOG (maybe the one SE is making for the PS3).


PS > Hey Feba you could play Guild Wars for a sort of painless experience, plus is really cheap and you can either solo everything with Henchmen or team up if you feel like it, and looks way better than WoW (but then again most games do).

A game is a game. I say give it a try. Personally its not for me, and I have tried it. Stop worrying about things so much and just embark on this magical journey to a realm you hate more than others, and see if it is truely worth your contempt or whether you can find something in it worth your time. This isn't suicide, its a game.

WoW is a pretty fun game. Especially in the beginning. Later on it gets less fun, unless you enjoy running the same instances over and over again. Most people don't.

A lot of the bashing of the game and it's community is just so ridiculous. It's not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. Yes, a lot of the community sucks, but a lot of the people are really cool too.

I'd second Grizzlebeard's suggestion of EQ2 though. It's a very fun game. Especially nowadays.

WoW is just a graveyard where all the good MMORPG's rejects are buried. And every character model is ugly as hell, I know how you despise elvaan, they make them look like super models.

It's a crap game filled fat nerds and virgins who have absolutly no morals, trolls with giant noses and huge ears, horribly graphics, and not a game I would ever consider to be good. I mean, Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don't like it. I don't think you would either.

Well, if you want an alternative I'd strongly recommend Everquest 2. You can try a 7 day free trial to see what you think of it and if you decide to buy I'd suggest using this guy for obtaining the Echoes of Faydwer CD key. It gives you all the expansions and original game right up to the current expansion. I'm playing it now on one of the Euro servers and it's a cross between old EQ and WoW with the latter's refinements and the former's considerably more mature and friendly playerbase.

I've actually been searching so long for a good MMO that I'm considering trying WoW. WoW!
