Such as? Keep in mind, living in Vana'diel would be a lot different from playing FFXI. For one thing, you could actually read the books in the library.

I just don't have much interest in living in a medieval fantasy world. But that's me.

R U guys all assuming you'd be the character you are now?! Wouldn't we all have to start in our new world at level 1 together? If so, how many of you are willing to put in the physical, monetary, and mental investment to be lv 75? Or would you just work at one of the crappy shops all day? Like in RL...

Like I said, I'd probably level DRG to 30-50ish, then spend my time in small towns fishing and the like.

I wouldn't call final fantasy medieval, but I understand where you're coming from. Personally, it would be hard to get used to there not always being immediate entertainment on hand, but I'd rather like it once I got used to it. Really, a mog house would be perfect for me.

There are far too many things about the real world that I appreciate and enjoy to give up. Sure, magic would be cool. But I don't know that it'd be cool enough.

Would we play games in Vanidiel, like a MMorpg that was like the world as it is now. (ie the SIMs)

Maybe we would not have xbox, ps3 and or PC, but there maybe some magical crystal ball o' Video games that all the lil taru's would clammor over at xmas time.

That would be a good thing, lol. There'd be actual advancements in the world if we could live there. Ruins, or places like The Eldieme Necropolis, being so close to a city, would be further explored and possibly fixed up, and ways to ward off monsters would be made. The possibilities are so endless if you really think about this stuff.

And maybe the Tavnazian Safehold would become a national landmark when the nation gets back on its feet. Though, I'd be getting some pay back against Fomor Red Mage in the Phomiuna, grrr that mithra always gets me! But i wonder........<Insert something here>...

Yeah id do it. And i wouldnt be restricted to not wearing somehitng thats level 75 at level <insert level here> cause i can wear whatever i want

And about the job. Yeah id stay THF(and sub WHM(or maybe BLM still unsure) screw bad job combos i want to heal myself whenver i feel like it and/or use other sorts of magic)

and about that bank robbing...totaly count me in as well....but...gotta show me /help me get there....never been.

Also as far as someone saying using sword on WHM, totally true. Nothing would keep any job from mastering any weapon. You'd just have to work hard on it ragardless of job.
