Had a friend that always played one where you had one unit that you could take to the center of the map and it would change what you were, then you would fight other people and accumulate kills. I think the higher you got your streak you got bonuses or something like that.

Had a roomate that played WC3 and would do the maps where you put "towers" and built mazes to keep mobs from making it all the way through. He'd get tired of playing with other people and just make his own games solo. Could beat that one with most races.

Now we know why those freaking Marines take so long to "train". Though, I think that the idea of using condemned prisoners as Marines is a good idea

Someone should check and see if the length of that process in the trailer matches with the actual training time of a marine. ^^

Should be easy to check. After checking the trailer, the total production time is either 57 or 49 seconds, depending on when you start: 57 seconds from when he stepped into the boots, or 49 from when the base frame is put on his body.

According to battle.net/starcraft (Terran > Marine), the train time is 24 seconds.

So, I guess not matter what, it's not the same time, but is it just me or do those guys take forever, especially when you REALLY need them?

I think he's either a special class Marine, because these guys have jet packs if you watch the video. Regular Marines don't have jet packs, their only good for moving down and up terrain. Or so it seems.
