I so wish my PS2 wouldnt be broken now (it has been for 2 years+ ; ; ) But I hope to play this game as well.. Maybe emulated?? >< >< sooo illegal!! Never mind. I should get my PS2 fixed.. And I already should know the answer of this dumb question..but.. will it be for PS2 only?

All i can say to that Kitty is that as soon as the PS3 gets released the PS2 will go down in price so buy a PS2 then. I have always been a PS fan and always took the p**s out of my mates xbox with its huge clumbsy controller and the lack of graphics quality the PS2 has. It makes me laugh that FFX1 is being released on the new xbox360 (I know its had a few graphics tweaks, but not much else) but this game is still running strong on the PS2. I am waiting in agony for XII to come out, and hate the prospect that us british have to wait months after the US and Japanees get it !! The graphics look superb and the gameplay is more realistsic (from what i can see in the trailers) also to be released on teh PS2 shows just how much of the PS2's potential has not been used by previous games.

Rumours are that if they release a FFXIII ( or whatever the next one they decide to name it) its going to be on the PS3 and with proven tracks of this console being more powerfull tehan the xbox360 (I have compared both spec sheets and my mate whos a graphics card and processor developer in the UK has confirmed this) the PS3 is much more powerfull, you can just imagine what SE could produce on teh new console!!! I wait in anticipation!!

Let me preface by saying that I like FFX but haven't touched FFX-2.. I like all of the FF games that I've played pretty much and I'm even loving DQVIII-- But the FFXII demo didn't feel like a console game to me at first.. Since it's become addicting and wonderful but it's seriously worrying me because the Second stage's summon does that special attack "Hellfire" which.. As some of you might remember as being in EVERY FF game to date as Ifrit's special attack.

Does this.. mean that Ifrit is now gone? What about Shiva? Bahamut? The three summons who were in every FF game to date o.o; If they're not in the game, what kind of a statement is S-E trying to make. What's next, no biggs / wedge? No chocobos? No moogles? No CID!?

I'm easy to please I guess, if those things are in it and it's got an engaging story then it deserves the Final Fantasy name but if they don't pull that off...

The demo lists them as "Rank 1" Espers. Maybe Ifrit will show up in a higher rank. Probably not though. They dropped Ramuh in VIII. I guess we can wave bye-bye to Shiva too. Bahamut might be back to NPC status, but I don't think they'll leave him out totally.

Hasmal and Belias are Hashmalum and Velius from FFT. Queklain, Ultima, and Adrammelech have been in the trailers. Ultima and Adrammelech were Totema in FFTA, Adrammelech was Adramelk in FFT, so maybe Ultima is the porper translation of the "Bloody Angel" Altima.

That makes five so far. Hume, Bangaa, Vierra, Moogle... There was a pic reported to be a Nu Mou, though I don't think it's confirmed. Five intelligent races, if you exclude Seeq.

Zarela is the odd one out from FFT. Not all the zodiac stones were revealed to be connected to a Lucavi. Maybe we'll see Exodus, Mateus and Famfrit from FFTA.

That'd make nine. Holy, Dark, Lightning, and Ice. Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, and Hear- er, heh heh. Eight elementals, and one non-elemental?

I know this is about FFXII, but with all the FFX Bashing, I have to say.....FINAL FANTASY X WAS THE BEST TITLE IN THE SERIES, IT WAS AWESOME, lol. I had to get that out...+ I can't wait for FFXII!

Casting a spell or using an item cancels your current attack. FFXI just puts it on hold till you're done, IIRC. All weapons and spells take the same amount of time to swing or cast. Slow (and most likely Haste) affect them both the same way.

Things that make FFXII halfway between ye olde ATB and FFXI. Meh. I wish those aspects of the game were more like FFXI.
