Which Xbox360 system/games will you get at launch day?

I plan on getting the premium system and preorderd Project Gotham Racing 3 and Perfect Dark Zero. I plan on getting Dead or Alive 4 too but they pushed that back to December 1st. I'm also going to be playing these games online as well. I'll mostlikely make a topic serperat from this one that will hold gamer tags when the system comes out, this gives people a chance to finalize their online plans although both systems come with 1month of xbox live gold memberships (i think.)

I will be grabbing the premium along with Perfect Dark: Zero, Kameo, and Dead or Alive 4 along with an extra controller.

Welp, just called gamestop today and got bad news. I pre-ordered the 400 package and perfect dark zero. (I did this on 9/14 mind you.) Not only will I not be getting mine on release day, but they said it would be towards the end of their backup orders. When I asked when that might be, they said they had no idea. They did however remind me to bring in any used games to sell back. F***ing microsoft. If I end up missing the ffxi beta b/c they decided to hold back on how many units they released I'm going to be uber pissed.

I just got back from the game store and I'm #1 on the pre-order list! Have my premium 360 waiting for me at 12:01am on Nov.22nd. I paid off my total tonight (deeeeeeaaaaaam that was a chunk of change!!) and came home with a couple games and a controller..........now for the system.............the wait is a killer! lol

Oh ya my game store is getting in 38 total systems and all of them the Premium. WalMart nearby is getting 14, Kmart is getting 5 (lol) and Best Buy is getting 30 (no idea on how many of each for those stores). Kinda funny how HUGE Best Buy is getting less than my little hole in the wall game store. LOL

Interetstingly enough. A lot of people are not getting Xbox 360. Which saddens me because I planned to make profit... PS3 awaits are $$$!!!

I was under the impression that only the JPN Xbox 360 would be allowed to beta test FFXI and the expansion. Am I wrong in that assumption?

I've already put aside $500 for PS3. As soon as they offer the pre-order, I'm going drop a chunk on them!

TGM and I had discussed this. From what she told me, they have already announced the beta for JPs. We have yet to hear anything. Neither of us had heard that they specifically said it would be "JP only". Unless thats their idea of a sick joke. If it is the case, then I'll have to edit my comment up there to say "F*** you Microsoft AND SE!"

I'm number 53 and EB Games is only getting 35 -.-;

I was just gonna get Kameo and FFXI along with the Premium system. Then I found out that I can't use XBLive in my dorm!!!!! :fume:

I wonder if i can get a refund, xbl was a big reason I'm getting the 360.

I've heard a few other ppl say the same thing. Why arent campus ethernets allowing these things? I've heard of the same problems with playonline w/ people on campus. Playonline might be tough to get ok'd, but it being a college campus and halo being huge I would think enough bitching would get the CIS people at your school to ok xbox live.

The thing with campus' is that have been targeted by RIAA and other groups because students were downloading tons and tons of copy-righted material. So they closed their networks.

Beside the legal issues they ran into, they were having issues with older networks suddenly having to deal with every kid in the dorm with a PC downloading music, videos and the like and bogging down the network. So started closing off ports left right and center.

Four friends and I run a consulting group. One of our customers is a local small university. They have actually recieved legal notice due to students getting caught file sharing. So they closed a bunch of stuff to protect themselves.

However, all hope is not lost. Some schools will open ports if they can verify what they're actually being used for. You may just have to submit something, and if you have other students who want/need it as well you may find them more helpful.

Ridge Racer VI, Top Spin 2, both reserved. Whether I have a system to play it on for launch day or not is another story XD EBX called saying they "might not be able to garauntee my reserve to be filled" on the first day due to receiving less than originally anticipated. Duno about the deffinition of pre-order or reservation to others, but seeing i reserved this over two months ago, I find it shady they can't fill the order despite money being down.

I reserved my system near the end of August. The manager called me and told me that starting the next day they would be taking pre-orders so I hustled my buns down there and plunked down my money. But even when I found out that there was a first shipment crowd and 2nd shimpment crowd, I was worried. So I zipped down there just to find out...man was I relieved!

Anyway, I'll get over it. My current mission is to get POL working, but i didnt bring my instruction booklet, so I can't tell them what ports to open. *sighs again*

Well, at least I can save up for the PS3 now. ;.;
