Bought the game the day it came out...the EB where i got it from only recieved 3-4 copies of it. Besides the graphics being not soo great, and the game being not soo exciting, it's an ok rpg. I am only 5 hours in, so i can't say much else about the game, but it's getting better as the story is being unravelled.

Waiting to pick up this game...I've got too much on my RPG list right now with the impending release of games like Dragon Quest VIII, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy XII. ; ;

The game is helluva buggy.
But it ROCKS. Really I had no idea what was this game when I got it but it sucked me in so fast I saw no world beside it. Crafting system is awesome, only at the end game you might get angry when you see that you can't get some items that you need really ; ;

And the dialogues in this game....
Norn: Klein, will you go to bed with me? I'm too scared and can't do it alone(or something along those lines)
Klein: I can't! ESRB would go nuts !.

This game is entirely hand drawn... like some one drew the characters, towns, monsters, area maps (dungeons, fields, etc). You just can’t compare hand drawn graphics to 3d or cel. Hand drawn is a in a league of its own.

Honestly...I'm tired of the same games by NIS.I mean come on! Can't they try something new?I enjoyed Disgaea and Phantom Brave even, but now all they make are turn based-Strategy RPGs.Its getting old..And quick.

Gameplay in Atelier Iris ~Eternal Mana~ is completely different from Strategy RPGs like Disgaea and La Pucelle Tactics. I'd say it's their most innovative title yet.

This is the first I've heard of it. I might check it out since I'm a big fan of Disgaea and from the sound of this has the Nippon Ichi humor I wish was in more games. ^^

Yes, the humor is great.
And I don't know why people think its Disgaea like ~.~ Its like saying that every S-E game will be FF-like... (well of course in a way that any rpg can be not-FFish)

Disgaea...curse you...why does it take soo long to level a Space Pirate to level 5000 so he can steal Baal's stuff....WRRRRRRYYYYYY
