Didn't cut my "Top Episode" list, but it was pretty damn heart-warming and realistic compared to the crazy-chaotic Season 2 episode line up so far.

I'm surprised Sweetie Bell didn't get a cutie mark this episode. Liquefying toast takes talent, considering bread has an aversion to catching fire. Or at least, I've never been able to get bread to catch fire with a match.

I was watching the Fighting is Magic Twilight Sparkle intro video closely and noticed two things that amused me:
1) When Twilight flips through the pages in her book it fills up her EX gauge
2) Her fireballs have a horn in them, similar to hadoukens having fists in them.
