He has a point. Now, I love both countries but History does show that in the 3 times we've tangled, we won. And terrorist attacks are blown entirely out of proportion. Though, it wouldn't hurt all the fear mongering politicians and media to actually take some time and do the following;

~ Read up on the history of the Middle East.

~ Let these arab nations deal with their own shit and fix problems at home. Support for terrorism is dropping dramatically and in time it will all go away as more and more people are turned off by it and the local governments take actions to prevent it. The real odds of actually dieing on a terrorist attack are pretty low. The biggest threat to the U.S. is not Osama Bin Laden, it's the economic mess that's happening right now and the potential for it to go as high as 36 trillion due to the war, deficit spending and health care system that's spiraling out of control.

~ Quit trying to be the hero. Seriously, one of the biggest things that pisses off other countries is the fact that the U.S. always sticks its nose in everyone's affairs trying to be "the good guy".

Canada is as safe as in gods pocket. It doesn't matter who tries to attack us, there will always be many many more countries to come and beat them out. Our resources are too precious worldwide, and having them in control of a country who may not give them willingly like Canada is not a wise thing.

So use your nukes, what is your point. Nukes are the most useless weapons ever made because nobody is going to use them openly. Sure a terrorist might use a suitcase or shoe nuke, but I doubt any government in the world would use them. Well besides the USA.

Heck I imagine the US would nuke itself in a losing war just to claim they didn't lose. Hell name one war you have won on your own in your countries history? Vietnam, no. Iraq I, no. Iraq II, no. Korea, no. WWI, no. WWII, no. American Revolution, No. The only war you can say you won outright was the civil war and it was against yourselves. Your no better than the french when it comes to fighting in a war. Hell you guys sit at the same record, your only victories coming against your fellow country men.

I think you got a few more problems to worry about than ragging on canada because someone wished canadians a happy thanks giving. Are you going to be living in your house at thanksgiving, is your mortgage going to hold up? Is someone going to come in and strip your computer from your house for downloading MP3's? Is uncle sam listening into your phone calls or library withdrawls, do they have a pad at gitmo with your name on it because they feel like it? Who knows, maybe you should worry about that instead.
