                  Funny you say that, my son just walked in my room last night and told me he lost another 10 pounds. After changing my eating habits and toning up, I started harping on everyone in the house too. My son would get SO annoyed with me so I started a little plan.

                  I bought him a sexy Italian leather jacket because he never wore stuff like that. It was always big baggy jackets, loose pants, etc. At first he hated it but it grew on him and I bought it a size too small. He was a bit dismayed it was kinda tight and I played dumb and said it was his size. (The sizes aren't in those types of coats, there is a code and its in Italian so he'd never know anyways.) He has even started buying new clothes! This is astounding since he has never bought a single piece of clothing for himself ever in his entire lifetime!! But his sloppy old clothes don't go with Italian leather! (I would buy a whole damn wardrobe right down to the skivies for Christmas every year. ><) That was stage 1!

                  Then I took him to one of the top salons to get his hair cut for his birthday. When he got there the hair stylist and I ambushed him about putting some color in his hair. (Set that up in advance!LOL) He caved and got the full treatment. This was a HUGE deal since I'd been giving him buzz cuts for years and he had absolutely no interest in having to style his hair for work everyday. Well now he does it religiously! Cracks me up too. That was stage 2!

                  Next.....I bought a treadmill! LOL It took me 2 weeks to get him on it but I finally appealed the the "man" in him "You gonna let this old granny whoop your pansy a** on a treadmill cause you are too whoooooosey!?" LOL Now he runs home from work usually, is thinking of buying a bicycle, AND talking about joining a gym!!! STAGE 3 COMPLETE!!

                  So in the end he's lost 40 pounds, cares about how he dresses, and styles his hair every day. He told me straight out that losing the weight gave him a lot more confidence to explore his options and grow QUITE A BIT. Don't ever underestimate what little changes in your life can do for you, even if you have to take baby steps!

                    That is so awesome Mom! How old is your son? I'm 22, it took me 21 years of baggy clothes bought by my mother until I started my "Operation No Love for Lovehandles". I think its around this age us guys start getting worried about certain things, most my guy friends are around my age and I notice that in some of them too.

                    And to keep with the thread...

                    My other vices are Grilled Chicken, Body Pump (a gym class), and the Elliptical Trainer Machine at my gym.

                      I've been blessed with a high metabolism, but I still get excersise, though not enough lately if you ask me.

                      I think a real vice of mine is looking for quick fixes to any health issues that come up at Swanson Vitamins. I've been becoming increasingly sleepy during the day, and after doctor visits and research I'm at square one as to what the cause could be. I used to take a multi-vitamin and fish oil every morning, but now I'm taking the aforementioned in addition to a super B complex, iron, cherry extract, and GABA.

                      I think the problem is just stress, but that's not something I can diagnose and treat easily. I don't want doctors throwing pills at me, either. Right now I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open, and I've got a quiz in an hour.

                        He's a late bloomer. LOL He's 25. I'm just so happy to see him more happy and healthy.

                        Good for you Dak. I am anti-pill too even though its necessary for me to take some. My doctor always likes to tease me about how little I do take for the condition I have "You're the only patient I've ever seen that doesn't take more than one....blah blah blah" Thats because I'm old and cantancorous! LOL (wonder if I spelled that right )

                            Oh but it is @.@ because HTF I find is more violent and graphic than most M rated games (and on par with a lot of horror flicks which is awfully disturbing given the cutesy setting) and while I find it hard to watch, I can't turn away o. O
