I am indeed. It is utter crap, and I had to make a great effort to watch it for any significant amount of time just in case "it got better later on". No such luck.
Nemesis was weak yes, but not crap, and it had one of the best starship fights in Trek history. Star Trek V was weak too, but at least it was Star Trek. On the other hand "The reboot" should've been a completely new IP instead of another failed attempt at milking the name Prequel-Trilogy-style.

I hope your mum gets well soon.
If you need any medical stuff translated I'll do my best to explain.
Fingers crossed it's just something standard allthough 5 weeks is a very long time. I hope she's been to the doctors. xx /huggles xx
Thank You, well it's a long story She first got sick nearly 2 years ago, wasn't until recently we found out she had a small stroke back then :s For the last 19 months she's been unable to balance properly and has had to get hearing aid's in both ears :/
She's been told she has to get therapy now after so long, even though it's going to take nearly a year to start working.
And on top of that, cause she's off work atm,They are now saying they don't want her back unless Occupation Health give the hospital(who hires her) the all clear, even though I personally think, they don't want her back, they just can't fire her without a good reason, so they're trying to find out to do so.
Thankfully she works for an Nhs hospital?
I'm at Birmingham heartlands, I wouldnt worry too much about occupational health being involved. More than two weeks off duty due to health is enough to trigger Occ health and Human resources involvement. Basically they have to make sure you are fit to perform the duties required. This goes from all levels, Domestic housekeeping staff all the way up to the paper pushers.
Occupational health will try to assist in your mum's recovery, They will try to help your mum return to work even if she has to be put onto lighter duties for a while.
Try not to think of it as punishment for being ill. it's basically covering all bases for legal requirements its not the intention to push your mum out of work. Take my situation at the moment if you've been familiar with my posts on being sued for Assault and medical negligence. All for saving a member of the public on hospital grounds.
I'm glad your mum is doing well, I only usually see the most severe of strokes so it's good to hear your mum is doing well.
Physio is awesome if you stick to it, Just remember "little and often"
I hope she continues on the road to recovery /hugs

Well she has asked to be moved to a smaller ward or even become a domestic like me instead, we're just hoping that happens.

Thank you so much for your kind words, I really do mean it
Every time I hear it, it makes me angry. It's been on the radio for years... and yet not a single line in the song is actually an example of Irony.
Rain on your wedding day = Happenstance
Free ride when you already paid = Unfortunate
Good advice that you didn't take = Stupidity
Oxford English Dictionary:
irony, n. Forms: In early use often in Latin form ironia.
1.
a. A figure of speech in which the intended meaning is the opposite of
that expressed by the words used; usually taking the form of sarcasm or
ridicule in which laudatory expressions are used to imply condemnation
or contempt.
b. with an and pl. An instance of this; an ironical utterance or
expression.
2. fig. A condition of affairs or events of a character opposite to what
was, or might naturally be, expected; a contradictory outcome of events
as if in mockery of the promise and fitness of things. (In French ironie du
sort.)
3. In etymological sense: Dissimulation, pretence; esp. in reference to
the dissimulation of ignorance practiced by Socrates as a means of
confuting an adversary ( Socratic irony).

Isn't it ironic that Yyg doesn't like a song about irony / sarcasm.
