It was only Batman this morning because I bought him new jammies. /sigh The cape was obviously a mistake. I'm only 2 days into living with my grandbabies and I think I've sprouted at least a dozen new grey hairs!

I recommend tranq darts. It may take some practice to get used to using a blowgun, but well worth it once you get accurate with it.

How long do you have them for TGM? My ex-husband has my kids for the next few months, and while they drive me insane on most days, I do miss them like crazy.

Blow gun is long and awkward. (Usable ones, anyway.) I think there are compressed air propelled projectile launchers, which should be more convenient. Not sure what they are called, though.

If that seems weird, it's because I've seen blow gun used in office, but not those compressed air projectile launchers whose name(s) escape me at the moment. (Yes, I said blow gun, in office.)

If I ever have kids, they are so not watching TV. Unless it's PBS. And, only animal shows, until they are old enough to understand Nova and Frontline.

TV advertisement is too effective on kids, and most cartoons are little more than thinly disguised marketing campaigns. I much rather use children's gullibility to imprint my ideas instead of the marketers'.

As far as kids and early mornings are concerned, I can sympathized with TGM and Aska. My wife and I run a daycare with 18 kids (three are ours), ages 7.5 months to 8yrs.

It's not always bad, just when it's to futskin cold that we can't send the kids outside. That and the fact the baby is starting to army crawl all over so no toy is safe on the floor. I swear though, there are some days our boys are worse than the rest of the kids combined.

Aksa, your guess is as good as mine. /sigh Her husband decided that she was "planning on" cheating on him because she was asking advice from a guy on a computer forum on how to fix her computer so he left her. (Just got all the gory details last night, in fact.) She was a stay at home mom so now she'll have to pay off lawyers, any bills she's stuck with, get a job, save for a car, save up to move out, and THEN they'll be gone! lol

I have a great blow gun story. My boss went on a huge trip down the Amazon. He traded a watch for a blow gun with darts and he was so darn proud of that blow gun. (The darts were not tipped with anything.) He liked to futz around with it and one day put a dart in it. Well our secretary/assistant came around the corner at the WRONG time and got a dart in the thigh. Man, he was kissing some major a** for a loooooooooong time after that! (Wish I had a camera and got a picture of the look on his face when it happened!)

Well, the Batman cape was totally Grandma's fault. >< I'm a geek and when I saw it I just melted. Unfortunately it was the last one so only one boy got one. Bad move....but OMG CUUUUUUUUTE!
