But yeah, eticket and I have come to the conclusion that it's some form of viral campaign for that site. Since it hasn't been anywhere else. Still, it was amusing. I loved the board where she was trying to figure out "HOPA."

I enjoy sugar too much. I live three blocks from an artisanal bakery. They make the most amazing pain au chocolat I've ever had. Also, other bread items.

I mean, I only weigh 195. But in gay world, I'm morbidly obese.

I think I've finally found a diet soda that works for me.

I didn't even know there were diet root beers but A&W seems to have nailed its diet version perfectly. I usually don't like diet drinks because of the watered down taste and steady aftertaste, but this doesn't taste watered down and the aftertaste is very slight.

I dunno if I'm the sweettooth Murphie proclaims to be, but I always prefer a sweet drink during with my meals. As much as I'd like to stick with just juice the problem is I just go through that stuff too fast. And its hard to find it without HFCS in it.

Though I'm still letting cane sugar soda be the occasional exception to the rule, no HFCS in those. That stuff just stays inside you but once you get high fructose corn syrup out of your system, its amazing how much weight you lose.

And juice is far more sugary than just eating the fruit itself, sadly (plus you miss out on the fiber). Though it's not too though to find not HCFC juice if you know where to look.

I've seriously upped my intake of water and I have an iced tea maker now so I always have a pitcher or two waiting for me for when I'm thirsty. My biggest issue, honestly, has been cutting out beer. I like a good local microbrew, and it's hard to pass that up.

If I could get Coca-Cola from Mexico I'd totally drink it. They use cane sugar. Alas, in the US it's all HCFC. And I can't bear diet soda, or zero calorie soda, or whatever other variations on the theme they have at the grocery store.

I've also been cutting carbs out. That's been somewhat tough. My roommate made this black bean and chicken dish that we usually eat with tortillas and tortilla chips, and we top the dish in cheese and cream cheese. I ate mine without the dairy and with green and red pepper slices. It was not the same. Tonight I grilled some salmon and made an awesome tomato and onion salad. But damn it, tomorrow I'm having some steel-cut oats and a sandwich (on sprouted grain bread). Carbs or not.

I had cut out soda completely, and then some asshole had to leave me with a case of pepsi throwback.


So as soon as I get rid of these Dr. Peppers it's back to water for Feba.
