So I'm watching the news. A sheriff just announced that they won't pursue drug charges against Micheal Phelps. In his words, there "isn't enough evidence to convict ANYBODY [who was at that party]".

If only the police had some solid evidence, like a clear photo of someone using drugs, or someone giving a confessio--

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they legalized it, as long as it was heavily taxed and part of that tax went to rebuilding that lives that it destroys. I don't want my taxes paying for that shit. I know California is considering legalizing it if the state can benefit from it because it's actually one of their biggest quote-unquote profit-makers, but if they go ahead with it and it works out well the others states might as well follow suit.
