You gotta be fucking kidding me. My ex husband actually bought some for me, which I found odd considering he was jealous of my masturbation. He thought that if I got horny, I should always go to him for sex. Well, one thing he didn't realize about me is that sometimes it's just a stress relief thing, not really sexual in nature. I wasn't going to bug him for sex when I didn't actually want sex. (Not to mention by the time we split, I was so sick to death of looking at him and I didn't want him to touch me, at all.) I think he just wanted me to use them when he was with me. It didn't happen that way, but hey, whatever works.

I had one that an old roommate must have found and gotten rid of ... I never did find out it was her, but I had my suspicions. I had my own room, and I kept it in the drawer beside my bed. Well, I went to move out one day and it was nowhere to be found. It hadn't been that long since the last time I'd used it and put it away. I don't know why anyone would snoop through my stuff, and even worse, why they'd get rid of something like that, but seriously that is some petty bullshit. Better to be using something like that than out fucking random guys off the street. -.-

Initially I thought it was the housing directors (this was student housing) and so I asked, and they said that it wasn't contraband, which means it was obviously one of my roommates. Probably some stupid religious bullshit ... which really pisses me off. Just because it's against your religion doesn't make it against mine, you know? And I was pretty sure that going through other people's shit was probably not something a good Christian would do. Let alone removing it from my possession (otherwise known as STEALING) and being a secretive bitch.

I'm still pretty bitter about that. Those things aren't cheap. And I really would like to know what business she thought it was of hers to go through my things and take something that didn't belong to her and get rid of it out of some misguided moral opposition to it.

So get this. For our 10th anniversary, I planned a huge celebration for the 2 of us. There is this hotel with themed rooms up north so I rented us the "Jungle Room". A bamboo and grass hut in the room with trees, vines, and a jacuzzi "pond". They had better rooms but they were so booked I had to take what I could get. I wanted the "Drive In" room with the Cadillac in the room where the inside was converted to a bed and they had a huge projection screen on the wall. It was really cool.

But anyways, I had a table reserved in a really good restaurant, this room, and a surprise for when he got out of work. I had my hair and make-up done and put on a sexy strapless one piece lingerie with garters and stockings. Then I put on my high heels and my fur coat on over the lingerie and that was about as long as a mini skirt (I had to be very careful getting in and out of the car!) and went to pick him up from work. I park in handicapped because he's handicapped so its right by the door. When he came out from work, I got out of the car and walked around it and got in on the passengers side. His buddies were happier than he was. By the time I got home my make-up and hair were ruined. He'd yelled at me which made me cry and he slapped me upside the head and pulled my hair down because he said I looked like a whore. This is not a man that is thrilled to find "toys" that his wife uses. I know for fact, he did once and once was enough.

We've been through our tough times thats for sure. They say every marriage has its ups and downs but that sounds like hills to me...ours has been more like mountains! lol He has good points too. He believes in bringing home the bacon and went to work every damn day to the point that getting him to take time off was like pulling teeth. So he provided for me and the kids just like the Marine he is. Some of his issues are that he is a control freak, has anger issues, and is super depressed but does not want therapy or medication. We've been roommates now for over 15 years.

I like your idea better. If it were a section in which J9 could post and no one else could see it, I'm pretty sure he'd (she'd? ambiguous) just start threads outside of that section. Which wouldn't fix anything.

I suggest a merging (dareIsaycompromise) of TGM's and Murphie's ideas and ban J9 from starting new threads anywhere but her own forum, the threads of which being marked in new topics as such with an icon of cat-ears or something.

Also, I had a total "derp" moment today.

So, I was thinking about all of Pokemon's villain teams, and which sort of bad-guy archetype they all fall in to (was discussing this with a friend on the bus, actually). Plasma seems to be wanting to restore feudalism, Galactic basically want to destroy the world (but for the sake of remaking it, of course!), and Magma and Aqua are basically the cultists. Which leaves Rocket, which we couldn't come up with anything more descriptive than "gang."

Skip ahead to seven hours later, when I think about the conversation again, and then the gears start turning . . . a highly-organized criminal "gang" with a lot of behind-the-scenes power . . . and to drive the point home, their leader's name is Giovanni.

That's when I finally realized. Team Rocket's the freaking mafia. Not quite sure why it took me nearly a decade to realize that . . .
