Crunchyroll, it's a nice site with Anime, Dramas and Music videos mainly from Japan.

Although the Drama and Music sections also have a lot of things from other asian countries.

Excel Saga - The only show where they kill the original Manga artist twice in the first episode, and Good plays dirty.

Once an anime gets licensed they have to remove it if they are asked to.

I really hate the way those guys destroy animes after they license them, they dub em and gut em for censorship purposes. It really pisses me off.

Edit > It still surprises me that people from a country with that education level are incapable of reading subtitles, pretty much everything gets dubbed in the US. o.O

It could also be that the anime is so old (like 10 years or so?) that no one bothered to upload it (although I'm sure it is licensed).

But if it's been aired nowadays then you wont see it in Crunchy.

I must be weird then, I like to watch movies dubbed in Spanish so I can learn it better, and only turn the subtitles on if I get really lost.

Well, more like I hate pretty much all kinds of dubbing. I think original language is better 99% of the times, with the few exceptions where even though dubbing still sucks the original language is so bad that a crappy dubbing actually improves things.

I think this way because usually as you convert from one language to another there's a lot of meaning that gets lost in the translation, and obviously subtitles have the same problem.

But if you at least know a bit of the language (or as you get used to it after listening to it for a while) then there's a much better chance of you actually getting the real meaning of what's being said. Since you are having 2 sources of info instead of one. Edit > This is particularly noticeable for things like humor, a translation can kill even the best joke after the conversion is made.

Plus, dubbed voices suck most of the time which is also something that really bugs me.

Telemundo is so annoying. My husband says it's like Ghetto TV in Mexico. Telefutura and TV Azteca are the best, in his opinion. Of course, Here in PA, I don't get those channels. But I do get Univision. LOL.

Sadly there aren't many options when it comes to Mexican TV.

For best results you could try Spain's channels which are the best in my opinion. People&Arts (Spain), TVE (Televison Española), and other channels like that are great options if you have access to them.

Well there's a slight spoken difference between Spain Spanish and Mexico Spanish, and since my in-laws are from Mexico, I am trying to learn Mexico Spanish better, and then eventually understand the differences between that and Spain Spanish.

But we really don't get Euro channels in the US anyway, so it's moot. When I was stationed in Germany we used to get one Spanish channel but I can't remember what it was.

If you like her then watch the Anime NANA, there's plenty of her songs in there. You could also check on Anna Tsuchiya while you are at it.

You'd be surprised how little differences there are between Spain and Mexico's spanish. The difference is way smaller than the difference between UK and US english. Just don't go near Argentina's spanish, you'll get lost with all the weirdness.
