Really curious if there's really that many items to buy..... $47k sounds really extreme to be spent on game items o_O; Maple story for example. Most items are under $15 each. Buying stuff off RMT? Still sounds a lot.

Knowing how Cash Shop MMOs (Aka, Korea's definition of "Free") work, he probably bought a lot of those items and sold them for in game currency to further his character, not to use the items himself.
Although they can get fairly expensive, i've never seen one that would make you spend more than about 200$ for EVERYTHING in the shop, and a lot of that cost is 30-70$ for Equipment sets, which are generally permenant.Comment
