I found this on a local news site and I thought it was funny enought to share with you. Feels like a "only in Maine" sort of thing.

Woman awakes to find intruder
By Holly Anderson
Camden Bureau Chief
CAMDEN (Sep 25): About the same time Camden police were investigating a reported burglary and car theft from a Howe Hill Road residence early Sunday morning, an Elm Street resident called 9-1-1 to report finding a man inside her apartment.
Following an investigation, Camden police arrested Thomas Billings, 30, of Rockland, charging him with burglary.
The Elm Street incident began around 4:30 a.m. when a woman residing in an apartment above McDucks at the corner of John Street and Route 1 (Elm) told police she was startled awake. When she walked into the den, the woman found the man inside the apartment.
"He was very apologetic and apparently still intoxicated, giving the tenant his name before walking out the door," said Camden Police Chief Phil Roberts.
When officer Dan Sylvain arrived on scene, Roberts said that a man was located under the stairs to the apartment. And when it was determined that he was not the man inside the apartment, officers located Billings walking down Pearl Street and arrested him.
Asked if Billings took anything from the woman's apartment, Roberts said, "Just a nap."
