There was a large discussion about the new Transformer's Bumblebee, and a spokesperson from VW said something along the lines of "We don't want VW to be associated with war machines"

It's a German company... And we all remember what happened in WWII.

I'll watch out to see if my dad's Mercadez Benz transforms to a weapon of mass destruction...

I guess the one thing I have a problem with is Bumble Bee being a Camero of all things. They could have picked something closer than that. Heck, a Mini would be better than a Camero. If not a Mini any sub-compact economy car would work, just not a sports car.

They also changed Ratchet from an ambulance to what looks like a 4-wheeled drive emergency response vehicle. Ehhh.. ok... I can kinda go with that. Ironhide, I think, they made a good choice. A red minivan doesn't scream "tough guy" to me, so I'm happy they upgraded him to a 4x4 off-road pickup (funny what our perceptions are on what people drive). Where's Jazz though? If they make him into something out of "Pimp My Car" I'm so not going to the movie.


Megatron is... well... they have to sell to me that the thing I saw was Megatron. Starscream does look like Starscream so far (thank God) and as for the rest, who are they?

I will admit that Incinerator does look pretty cool. They're military machines and should look dull and colorless. Wonder if they'll do camouflage on them though.
