Ragnarok Online vs. Final Fantasy XI

RO is easy to play. Tons and tons of primary-secondary students in my country are playing the game right now. you just sit there and hold down your mouse button and boom there ya go (for the beginning anyway)

I'm not gonna go into how good FFXI are cuz everyone probably know them already. But 1 part that RO kinda better than FFXI is.... hmm...

... you can't log in to FFXI for 15 minutes and have fun. You can't do anything within that time
... but you can have fun logging into RO with that amount of time. 15 minutes a day? can still play RO.

........... anyway, I played RO for 5 minutes and got bored. So 15 minutes in that game would be a nightmare for me.

how old is RO compared to FFXI? from what i am getting, RO is older and still has beta graphics. is this the case, or are they just as old, just more mmorpg players speek japanese, so RO is stuck only in korea?

I guess it depends. Most people who have been playing Ragnarok Online a while seem to like it better, though I have met a few who completely left for FFXI. :sweat: I tend to play Ragnarok more myself, I guess it's just my taste, or the fact the community is smaller.

i was into RO year before last and kept playing until ffxi was supposed to be out, but never happened
since it was my first mmorpg i thought it was hot and got addicted
yet it was still in beta for god knows how long, then they tried to get people to pay while it was still in beat testing ::flips the bird:: f that
plus i like the assasin job looked cool

I have played Ragnarok Online it seems to be beta and it just might be for a long time for International players. The only thing is to do is level up and do a bit of mvp and more of the same old things. Now they added comodo before that I was around when there was no Clock Tower and no Glast Hiem (sp). All the time people would kill steal go to coal mine and other same places for the longest time. If you go to towns you would find people just sitting around talking or going afk. I haven't played Final Fantasy XI yet because I am waiting for the playstation 2 version (which is like 3 months away or so since this month is almost over.) I hope to find many things to do and not just sit around all day with nothing to do.
