Well the Doctor Who effects team are traditionalists. If it looks like it's a guy in a suit it probably is, even especially the Daleks. The "You're just a tricycle with a roof" taunt from the first episode is basically a reference to that fact that unless the scene has hundreds of Daleks, those Daleks are usually a guy sitting on a trike in a Dalek costume.

And actually I think it was Captain Jack that kissed The Doctor on the occasions it has happened (though it still counts, just thought it was a fun bit of trivia), but then again Captain Jack is essentially John Barrowman playing John Barrowman so it would hardly surprise me.

So I was screwing around on Wiki (aka procrastinating) and it pointed something out about the title. The "Doctor Who" reflects the episode. The first episode has a pattern that mimics the Daleks and the second looks like Silurian scales.

River Song deserved the time she got on the show last season for such an integral part to storyline she held. She's honestly my favorite character in the entire series.

Just a warning:

If you are trying to go spoiler free, DO NOT WATCH the Canadian trailer (Space is the name of the channel) for "The Angels take Manhattan." It has a very big spoiler in it (not really plot related, but still a big spoiler)

I personally like spoiling things like that and see how they tie in, but again, "Spoilers sweetie"
