Was worried for a second that that meant they fucked up the mythos and made Harvey Dent become Joker instead of Jack Napier. I think I'm just too jaded by other comic book movies.
Heath Ledger is now the creepiest Joker ever. Mark Hamill still does the best Joker voice, though
* Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Phillippe expressed interest in the role of Districty Attorney Harvey Dent.

- an increase over the roughly $1 million she was believed to have earned for Batman Begins (2005) - Katie Holmes chose not to reprise her role as Rachel Dawes. This was due to what was described as 'scheduling conflicts'.
* Before Maggie Gyllenhaal replaced Katie Holmes in the role of Rachel Dawes, both Rachel McAdams and Emily Blunt were rumored for the part.
