Space Screensaver crashes?

I just did a fresh install of Windows XP MCE, and noticed some rather bizarre behavior. If I attempt to change the screen saver to the Space one(one of the default savers included), it immediately crashes. I've never seen a screensaver crash before(I really didn't think it was possible to screw up coding a screensaver)

Does anyone know of any fixes to this?

Probably a corrupt install. Go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, Windows components, track down screen savers, remove them, reboot, go back in and reinstall them. Also make sure all your drivers are up to date.

And yes, it is possible to have screensavers crash. Anything can have problems.

I managed to hunt down the problem, after checking the system logs. Its apparently a faulty driver. Thanks for the advice Mhurron.
