I would like to know if there is any way to rip music from DVD menus and turn them into MP3s. Cause there is this DVD I got and I loved the music on the menu so much that I got the soundtrack, but the songs where not on it. So please someone can u help me?

I've never attempted to do this... but...

A DVD is effectively a data disc. If you put it in your PC, you can explore the various media that are stored on it just like any program or picture disc and individually extract them. Somewhere on the disc is stored a file or files that represent the data you're looking for. It may be encoded in a format recognizable by your PC.... Then again... it may not.

I use a program to rip the audio from my concert DVD's... I'm at work right now so I can't think of the name of the program. I'll post again when I get home.

There will be programes about to do this as long as you have a DVD drive on your computer and certain software to get past the data protection.

Though in saying that it is illegal to do so as its a breach of copyright , but programes do exist , if anyone is going to post a link, please pm it, the companies are getting very strict on the whole copyright issue at the moment and we want to keep this sites reputation good.

But the answer to your original question is, yes it is possible.
