I have alot of unused programs that are taking space on my PC and I would like to remove those that I don't use. Problem is that, I'm having some difficulty identifying the programs and files that need to be deleted and those that should stay. Another problem I have is that most of them are all in the same folder. From what I calculated, I have close to 12 gig on my harddrive of programs that I have to remove. This is a huge amount of file s and need I some kind of advice or maybe a program that would help me clean this up. I'm really afraid of deleting something thats important. Any of you know a solution to fix my problem?

START>Settings>Contol Pannel>Add or Remove Programs
Also, be sure to defrag after you clean all that junk ou.
Also, if you have Norton 2004 you can use the one button check up to make sure you don't have stranded reg files.
If not, get Ashampoo Winoptimizer. It's a trial but it still helps.
If you just want to get rid of files that arn't associated to programs, you can simply delete them."Nihilistic sky, inhale magic power...Bizen Boat!"
" Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet? And also, you're drunk."

Ashampoo program helped a little but it didn't get rid of all those unused programs and files in one of my harddrives.
I'm looking for a way to identify all those file so I can deleted them. Theres something like 8 gig left now and I just can't find them all when searching.
Add/Remove program in the Control Panel is not sufficient, I need something that will help me clear like 8 gig of mixed, worthless files that are scattered in all sort of different folders.BRD 75 / NIN 66 / WHM 37 / WAR 30 / RDM 23 / BST 20

best bet is to delete them yourself if you know what they belong to. never trust any program to work 100% for anything.
