linksys routers are pissing me off

I have had it with linksys routers my first one was a BEFVP41 and that lasted for 6 months. Then I ordered a BEFSR41 October of 03 that decided to die on me today. I had problems with the BEFSR41 whenever I went online with my playstation 2 with ffxi I would get the error 4001 that was when my sister wanted to use the internet at the same time as I did. My question is what router should I get that could possibly last me longer and that might work with my playstation 2 than the ones I described above. I know I will have to spend alot of money on a router.....:mad:.
