Low Bench Score

p4 2.8
512mb ram
Win XP

Just installed radeon 9600xt 256mb. Updated drivers.

But i only get 1900H on bench score. I was expecting it to be higher.

Any suggestions to make it higher, or will it run ok on that. I get the game sometime next week.

Turn off HT in bios, the benchmark dosn't use it, but the game does.

It doesnt have HT. I got the game yesterday and it seems ok although i havnt really been to anywhere populated yet.

A p4 2.8 should have HT (Hyper Threading)

To my knowledge this one doesnt have HT. As far as i know you can choose if you want a process with or without it. Anyway i havnt seen an option for it in the BIOS and i have been through it several times.
