does it really matter how good ur sound card is?
i passed the directx 9.0 sound and music tests.
i have a intel integrated card and i wanna no if it works on the game

Some people will tell you yes it definately matters, but for the average user it does not. I also use onboard sound and I'm (personally) very happy w/ it for being free. And if it passed the sound test, then of course it'll work! FFXI is DX8.1, and since DX is backwards compatable, it shall work for sure.
