My Game Crashes....I wanna Quit

Hey Everyone.

This is a big problem to me ...My game sometimes Crashes in Citys Like Jeuno, Bastok and Sandoria

Heres my Specs:

AMD Athlon xp 2000+
256 mb SD RAM
40 gig HDD
GeforceN ,Geforce4 4200 ti 128 MB

Its really Laggy in Jeuno too....>.< anything wrong with my system?

Lag idea

Well for your lag problem I would try to get DDR Ram instead of SD Ram (512DDR should sufice). Look into an NVIDIA 5200 or 5700 GeForce Ultra (128MB). How fast does your hard driver run (normal speed around 7200) look into getting an upgrade to 10k, you will only need about 36-37 gigs nothing to big. Increasing your processure speed would only complement and ensure maxium use of the above listed enhancements.

hd speed shouldn't be a huge issue unless he's swapping to hell and back - and with 256 mb of ram, he probably is.

that being said - go to 512 megs of ram and you'll probably see an increase in performance.

i don't think the video card itself is a problem - i ran an mx 440 for quite a while with no problem.

if it were me, i'd upgrade my RAM, and only to DDR if your motherboard specifically supports it.

Chemist, you really like the idea of upgrading the HDD speed. Here is the thing, games (and all, I mean ALL other programs) run in the RAM. That's why you have so much of it.
