Motherboard Installation

I had a problem with this about 5 years ago when I last upgraded my computer. Now that I'm explecting my new motherboard, ram, and processor, I need to know what to do. My question is what do I need to do to prepare my computer before I install it, or has Windows XP changed from Windows 98 so that it will automatically recognize the change? Do I have to remove drivers or anything, or should I just reformat my hard drive?

Nope, just plug everything up and go, then install your motherboard drivers from the cd.
