Download FFXI?!?

Recently, while browsing in a peer-to-peer sharing network i saw that someone had a FFXI.exe available for download. It said game on it, and i do not think that game should be available for download! I mean thats plain illegal. It is a matter that probably aught to be looked into.

DUDE - I saw he same thing!!! I didn't download it because I thought it would have a virus on it + i don't feel like visiting Bubba in prison.

The file I looked at was around 3.1 GB.

well, im not sure about that being the game or not, but youll be needing a cd key, and i dont think there is ever gonna be a cd generator for it, all cd keys come from the company.

If u download it and it works, youll still have to buy the game for the cd key.

I can't personally comfirm this, but from reliable 2nd and 3 party sources, this is in fact the JAPANESE PC version of FFxi.

It is neither hacked or anything, and it doesn't come with pol or ffxi passwords.

So to an western person, it's almost a waste of time downloading it.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. Usually cracked games (ones you download illegally) are pretty glitchy. Like stated before, you need a CD key, and an account, so they'll be losing money anyway, at most it'll save them 50 bucks. Besides, downloading a file like that, unless your paying for DSL or Cable (or at college with a T1 or T3), then good luck finding a connection stable enough to download the whole file...

(cough, cough) suprnova (cough, cough). I dont like that at all. I posted about it about two weeks ago. I am all for *sample* music downloading, but FFXI, even if they cant get on, still shouldnt be allowed. But lalala happens!

actually several key generaters have been made for it all ready, and there are quite a few FFXI downloads also.

im not going to say where they are, 'cause some1 might wanna download it, and downloading FFXI is like insulting Square Enix but i'll give you a hint, for those that want proof...

The file was around 140k + I found mine on kazaa. The provider only had a bandwidth of 1 so it wouldn't do anyone good to try to download it. Besides, it can be a virus. Though, if you want to take a chance.... I won't i'll wait till it comes out. Plus Square deserves it.

But seriously goodluck finding a server with it...i have and it works, the CD gen keys work...But i lost internet for a while..and when i got it back i felt wrong playing a huge hack..even tho they would be getting my money anyway
