Wow that's expensive. DDR-II is out already? wait is DDR-II ram compatible with current ddr motherboards?

can anyone donate $8500 (i want a monitor too..). it owns.. 950mh fsb, ati 9800pro 256 oc'ed, 3.8 oc'ed p4. 1000gigs ram (that's 4 250gig hdd with 8mb cache and 7200rpm).

Bah you can make your own for half that freaking price. Its called Phase cooling and this model is called Vapochill. All they are doing is selling you stuff you can already buy and do onw your own. goto www.asetek.com for the cooling

The Cpu is Intels new PentiumEE or extreme edition which you can buy on your own. Its just a p4 with L3 cache and 1mb of L2 cache

It's a server motherboard,
and you cannot use over 4gigs of memory anyways due to OS limitations.

and everything is overclocked.

my thoughts exactly, ill take the 8k for that and ill build the same thing way cheaper then go on a nice long vaction with the rest. I do like the lcd though

please make a list of the parts you can get (you guys forgot that solid state memory with 8gigs and 8gb/s read speed is nearly impossible to find) and how much for each. make sure to get all the parts... and i wouldn't get the 8000 one, ide get the 3000 one and upgrade ram and hdd myself.

here is a list http://secure.newegg.com/app/WishR.asp?ID=429292 of most of the stuff its not exact but its close (the extreme isn't even out yet), add another 280 for the full 1 terabytes and 500 for the best vapochill unit, and probably 600 bucks for the ram and you get 3635 so up that to 4k and throw in some extras. If you go to that site and put the 7k computer in the cart it only comes with the basics, its an extra 5k for the puram system and 1.5 - 3.5k for the monitors, they remind me of alienware, waaaay overcharging people
