I'm looking for some semi-decent 2.1 or 4.1 speakers for around $40-$60. Anyone know any good places?

those should work fine with 4.1 the only thing is you will have no center channel, but when you upgrade and get 5.1 you will have the speakers for it, what kind of sound card are you using?Comment

I would grab those speakers then, you can pick up a sb live on newegg with 5.1 support for 37 bucks i think if you don't want to spend extra on the audigyComment

sb live, according to aerobahn (a.k.a GOD
), is next to crap. the audigy 2 is less than $100, or you can get the cheap, turtle beach santa cruz w/ 5.1 support and virtual 5.1 for those without 5.1 (it does work, and it's <$50)
