Graphics Card Question!

Ok sence FFXI for PS2 wont come out till March of 2004, ive decided to try to get it to work on my comp. I run an ATI Radeon 7500, will that work with FFXI or not? Thanks in Advance!

Ok I got a 3052 on the 1st try and a 3033 on the 2nd! Is this a good score or bad?

it's ok, but getting a radeon 9X00 series will up your score and dx9 compatibility.

It depends do you want the game just to run?? or do you want smooth framerates with good graphics??

want the game to run your 7500 is ok

want everything else? 9600pro please

I want it to run but it doesnt have to be perfect. Will the 7500 run it good enough? Oh and can I change video cards on a laptop? Someone told me I couldnt.

click on the FFXI SPECS tab, there u can see how ur card is ranked. i dont see any reason why u couldnt change ur vid card even if it is a lap top.

From what I know, GPUs are embedded technologies in laptops. More specifically, imbedded into the motherboard or some other alternative. This being said, it IS a bad idea to change the GPU. Better luck replacing the item the GPU is embedded into, i.e. mobo.
