Texels vs. AA Samples

What's the difference between a texel and a AA sample?

I've been reading a lot of specs on graphics cards and fill rates and I was just wondering what the difference was..

Does 1 Texel = 1 AA Sample?

What better to have for a fill rate?

texel= a pixel from a texture

fillrate= 1 AAsample per second

if you are checking that for your pci card, do as i said and get the cheaper one. then get 384 or more ram. then get a new comp, that money which you save now will help later. i fugured out you can get an ownage comp for <1600 even without recycling monitor, keyboard, mouse, case, ram.... all new and it's <1600.
