    well i got a compaq presario 5000 anyone know if it has a good enough card

    Sorry but I don't think so. You apparently have an integrated video card and I have not seen an integrated video card that old that can run FFXI. you will have to buy a new PCI video card and disable your integrated card if you wish to play FFXI.

      Unfortunaly you will not be able to play FFXI with that system uless you buy a new video card. The one that comes with it is only 16mb, which is not enough. I recommend the GeForce Ti4200 128 DDR, since the 64 is a waste of money.
