Can any one estimate a benchmark score?

  • Can any one estimate a benchmark score?

    Well, i really wanted to know what type of score i would be getting on the Benchmark, and wanted to know if anyone could help me out. My computer specs are:

    AMD Athlon XP 1700+ 1.4 GHz Processor
    480 MB RAM
    ATI Radeon 9000 (Card i will be getting)

    Im not sure what other info you would need, so just let me know

    i would say somewhere around.....5100.

      you will actually get a score in the low 3000's. so don't worry.

        it depends on the kind of ram, if you will software tweak the 9000 to a 9700, and any overclocking to be done. if you have pc3200 duel channel ddrram, overclock the 1.4gh amd to 1.8(if you get water cooling), and software tweak the card, you may get up to about 4300, if not, the guy above is right, 3000s for you at best (one guy with 256 ram, 1.7gh p4 and a gf4 got about 2200).

          I am running a

          AMD 1900+
          640 DDR
          Ti4200 128 DDR with AGP 8x (on)
          i got a score of somewhere in the 5000, around 5100-5200

            you have a better graphics card and much more ram zeroradius, so you should get better than that gu's config. you overclock don't you?

                i have 512 ram, 64mb ti4200 4x agp, and 2.53p4, and i get the same, maybe i should get more ram..

                    Actually that score would be somewhere in the 1500-2000 range. I was talking to someone in game and they pretty much have the same specs as you but the card was a 9600 and they only got in the low 2000s. I'm running on a 3200+, 1 gig ram, 9700pro and I got upper 6000s.
