The white rabbit is now officially my favorite new jug pet.

But about his Wild Carrot. To other BSTs on this forum: All I'm going to say is, if you like it the way it is, you better keep your big mouths shut about a certain aspect of it that is decidedly not as it is purported to be.
If you’re trying to keep something a secret…I suggest you not pin point it this easily. I actually think this was done purposely.

I’ve noticed a couple ‘questionable’ things with these new jugs.

I'm looking forward to needing only 6-8 people for Divine Might.

Though by then, I might be the only one left needing an earring... :/

does this also mean that we can solo some zilart missions as well and bcnm?
Many of the zilart missions were soloable before the patch by many jobs, the increase to 80 (eventually 99) will make more jobs able to solo I would think, the higher our level gets the more missions can be added on. Afaik with the exception of like 3 missions RDM can solo them all @75. So no not really, but kinda ya.

As for BCNM's there are a handful that can be solo'd afaik the caps were no removed on any of them, so no, new solos will not be added. ENM's remain capped. The only ones that have become uncapped are the BC fights (or the like ISNM for ex.) where buffs do not wear on entry (as these are lvl 75 capped missions.)

The only areas where caps were removed were previously capped COP areas, such as promies, aqueducts, sacrium, PSO'XJA any content in there that was not unchanged (such as the upgraded mobs for camping at 75+) will remain attheir capped levels. So you can solo formors for swift belts, you can solo a soboro, you can low man Voyageur Sallet. ETC ETC ETC.

i dont know if this was asked before,

Level restrictions imposed upon Chains of Promathia mission battlefields have been lifted.

The level 75 restriction has been lifted on battlefields.
does this also mean that we can solo some zilart missions as well and bcnm?

ha! Good luck with that! lol

SMN tried to keep their burn parties a secret too....that didnt last long.

Not trying to get your new found awesomeness nerfed just saying nothing stays a secret for long.

So you better expoit it to the max while you can.

oh ya, thats what I was getting at more or less. as well. my bad i thought you were saying ES counted as a reliable way to enfeeble.

    I'm aware that it's 10 minutes, that's why we'd put it on a rotation.

And I'm not sure which post you are talking about, all I hear is that we're still master enfeeblers but as someone who played RDM at endgame in a high end HNM shell, I never really saw a whole lot of enfeebling going on, it was haste, refresh, phalanx 2 and cures pretty much all of the time. I guess if you're still doing sky it can be useful, but who the hell still does sky?

For most of the newer stuff like salvage, Einherjar, ToAU HNMs, enfeebling has gone way out of style. It's all about using RDM as a buffer. Which is part of the reason I hated playing RDM so much by the time I quit, because it was nothing like it was back in like 2006 when I leveled it.

Sorry if none of this makes sense, it's after midnight and I'm not entirely sure why I'm still up. I'll reorganize this again tomorrow if you're still interested but the main point I want to get across is that RDM as the enfeebling role has gone way out of style, and you have other jobs that can - and have - filled that role where situations necessitate, and that it seems SE really wants RDM to be a backline buffer kind of job.

Notice I said reliably ES is hardly reliable and if basing reliability on something available every 10 minutes is what you base something on then Id love to hear more about it. The fact a RDM requires ES speaks volumes for the first part of my post, the one that says you either need full skill set, or on mobs that don't mean anything (sky mobs come to mind) ad INT/MND set.

Selective reading has always been a strong suit around here...

Sticking Slow on Khimaira (which is the first that comes to mind) was something that we used an ES rotation for, and yes, that included the BLMs sticking slow on the mob. While RDMs got Slow II, that didn't matter as much as having the mob Slowed.

And yes, it does annoy me that 1. I had to use ES 95% of the time to even land my enfeeb, even with an exceptional enfeebling set, and 2. BLMs could land it with that same reliability simply because of the aforementioned JA and that all of my extra skill meant nothing.

Now if that's not an HNM worth enfeebling, I don't know what is.
