. . . I'm listening to PFA 137 right now, when that's finished I'll be caught up to February on the podcasts. <_<; I got some catching up to do to get to the epicness!

Just to clarify, the appearance dates listed for these podcasts are when they are slated to become available for download/streaming, not when they're actually recorded, so you'll have to find out the deadlines for contest entries by the podcast itself.

The deadline for entries on LBR's contest is May 1st, so if you want a chance at a Shadow Lord statue or FFXI piano collections, get that entry in soon (check the community forum here or limitbreakradio.com for details). I can't say for sure when the other sites will have their deadlines, as I have not checked, but check with PFA and He Said/She said for details on that.

You know, if I had the time or cared to get my post count up to "advanced" level on BG (still can't find where the "advanced" part begins, btw), I'd respond to all of this nonsense there, but I'll go with here.

Announcing the First Community Team Podcast Tour! (04/20/2009) - Order of the Blue Gartr

Quick backstory before I get to that thread:

This was all born out of the discussion had over the LM-17 Bannings in the "Limit Breaking News" episode LBR had in January. Fusionx, Aniero, Elmerthepointy, Hyrist and Davyjones were in the roundtable on this. One of the big points of the discussion was the desire for SE to open up communications with the western playerbase.

The episode reached SE's ears and Fusionx took the initiative to contact SE about and the result of that is these three podcasts.

Now, the people at BG are complaining that Rocl Talk isn't included and that we're not taking this opportunity to rake SE over the coals about Bercus questions like how to beat AV or why people got banned. Questions SE has made it clear they will not answer.

What they want us to do is basically do what Fox News did back when they were able to get Clinton on for an interview when Clinton had come on to talk about a charity he as in town for. The fuckwit interviewer tried to put him on the spot and Clinton reemed him for doing so, and rightfully so, because that's just not done.

Not to mention this is the community team and not the development team.

What they're missing here, though, is that this is a good way to get the ball rolling so we can eventually move on to bigger things when getting SE on to the various podcasts. This is stuff that Blizzard and other MMORPGs devs routinely do already and SE has just been slow/reluctant to do it. That one roundtable discussion got the ball rolling and if anything, people should be thanking Fusionx for what might come of this. He did us a favor.

But as always, its easier for people to bitch than to take initiative.

Bumping only because some of the information has changed.

HS/SS and PFA are on-track, but the episode for LBR has been pushed back to appear on the 13th, the contest deadline also has been adjusted and the deadline is now the 7th.

            Poor luck.

But don't be too upset, you can be rather intimidating.

Re: Announcing the First Community Team Podcast Tour! (04/20/2009)

Seeing as I have no part in the recordings other than two appearances so far (COR and SCH episodes), I don't think I was a factor at all

              Probably just some scheduling issues.

Really? Only FFXI podcast I listened to was a couple of PFAs back in '06. What exactly do you do at LBR then, just community stuff?

Although I distinctly remember hearing someone say they listened to one LBR, which you were on, and that you were the most intelligent person on. I was scared for humanity.
