      They removed the god damn ??? from Qufim Island so now people can't progress through ACP...

      Real great SE, less than 24 hours after release and the expansion is already broken (never mind the missions are ass-backwards with artificial difficulty beyond belief)

          The ??? thing happens all the time, that is true (technical problems ftw.) But it's not like a day will make much of a difference anyway.

          So chill Mal and go farm Enspells instead! \(^-^)/



          PS > The missions do seem kinda odd though. Does anyone know if the team working on these mini-expansions is the same that worked on Zilart and CoP?

              I ran into several "issues" after the update. The most annoying one was joining a pt but not having a list of members..so basically it looked like I wasn't in a pt. I could refresh people but I couldn't talk in pt or see pt chat of anyone else. Left, joined, left, joined, zoned, logged, and everything in between but every damn time I got in a pt same shit. I always wonder how many emergency maintenances there will be after an update.

                  There was a discussion on another board that the Kupofried's Ring might be a replacement for the Anniband for this years Adventurer Appreciation. I didn't even think of that possibility. I guess if nobody finds it we'll know for sure in May lol.

                    I know but come on, less than a day... and of course I know people who are well past that part (I would have been too if it hadn't took 5 god damn hours to get a full set of items for the 1st mission for each of our party memebrs.)

                    OMG the ppl camping Davoi/Oztroja was disgusting. In mountains ppl were actually using their chocobo whistle charges just to claim Yagudo.


                    And now apparently you have to climb Delfkutt while under a 30 cap collecting key items along the way to the top for a boss fight and if you lose you gotta do it all over again...


                    Well, at least the new San d'Oria quests were cool (OMG the final CS was epic >_>) but over all, seems like we got shit after months of waiting. The augments from FoV are so damned retarded I'm not even going near them. My PLD buddy traded a Verve Ring +1 only to get it back with STR & VIT -1 and AGI +1... lovely.

                                Dev1: We should think of some way to get the FFXI economy flowing faster.
                                Dev2: What if there were some way we could keep the players from reselling their items, so crafting markets didn't get flooded?
                                Dev1: Hmm, interesting. But there would have to be some incentive.
                                Dev2: We could give the items additional stats in exchange for making them Ex.
                                Dev1: That's a good start but why don't we take it further?
                                Dev2: Further?
                                Dev1: If we make the new items worse then the players will have to go and buy new ones.
                                Dev2: Umm ..
                                Dev1: That'll really get those items moving!
