If we don't like something, collectively, if our hatred for it throbs like an abscess beneath every thread, does that mean that they're doing something right?

As hard as it may be, don't take this game or your characters too seriously. I promise you - the guys that really own your account don't.
The problem with running multiple sessions of a browser(I usually browse these forums, BG, and my linkshell's at the same time) is that sometimes I'll end up with 2 sessions of different threads for the same forum, see a post like WM3K's above and think that I'm looking at a different thread than what I am, and become severely confused.
Thought I was in Official Bored at Work, and was like WTF is he talking about?

I got an exp scroll each on my main and 2 mules, and rank 4 on a mule.
No surprise what the 4 most viewed items on FFXIAH are today... :D
I wonder if all four will fall below 100k when the prizes are released. About 60,000 rank 4 winners across all servers works out to about 3k per server, I think. Some will win on their mains and take hairpins or boots, I guess, but the rest will all be the same 4 synth items or gil.
I'm not sure whether to try to log in as fast as possible and sell something before it drops, or wait a few weeks and see which item's price got trashed the least (or if they all fell under 100k and I should just take gil). Probably the latter - aside from the fact that 1000+ people per server will be trying the former and some of them have much better net connections/more free time than me, buyers might well hold off in the expectation of a price drop, so people who try to get anywhere close to the current prices will just be left holding the bag no matter how fast they get their prize to the AH.
(It would, of course, be ridiculous *not* to undercut when supply and demand are shifting this much.)
Well I have a lot of characters and out of all 15 I got 3 exp scrolls and a rank 4. Yay, go me. >< I was going to post screenshots of all my "just off by one" marbles but frankly there were just too many of them. If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

God I hate my periods. You think passing a clot through a vagina is bad? Try it with a penis.

...I'm shitting dicks out of my eyeballs in excitement for the next bestgreating game of all time ever.
I got a rank 4 on a mule and rank 5 on everyone. My wife just got rank 5's on her and all of her mules. Funny thing is all of hers can actually use them. The bad thing is I forgot to get marbles on my friend's account. He actually needed an exp scroll...
To be the best in this game...you must help each other become the best.
Behemoth Hide is what I'd be worried about. Most people who don't actually have a direct use for the item probably won't bother with the ingot or cloth, as those are low volume items without as much profit potential. Behemoth Hide is also low volume, but it's worth about twice as much as the competition, and that's the first and possibly only thing many consider. The question is whether the volume is due primarily to rarity of supply, or level of demand, or rather, how much can the volume realistically scale to handle a huge influx of supply.
For Midgardsormr at least, if we were to assume about 1000 Behemoth Hides were introduced by this, and the sales rate didn't change much... it would take over a year for the economy to absorb all those hides, and we'd probably be looking at a pretty permanent and drastic drop in price. That's probably the worst case scenario, but...
Khroma Ore at least looks more realistically able to handle an increase in available supply.
Of course, SE also has a tendency toward changing the permanent supply of valuable items to diminish their value after an event makes a number of them available for a short time like this. (I've got a stockpile of NPC-purchased Movalpolos Water which is no longer worth even the NPC's price for it. At least as an alchemist I'll be using it directly, most likely.)
1 rank 4 and 2 rank 5 on my main, Didnt bother to play on my mules.
