      I just didn't think the event was so great. I didn't want a Maat's cap (thanks though for the projecting, that was fantastic), but I just wanted a little more depth. The holiday events are hit or miss with me. I loved this recent Summer event, but I felt that this one fell short. Maybe the Christmas event will impress me again, I dunno. Regardless, my dislike for a particular event isn't necessarily a sign of my inability to appreciate it or understand it. Maybe it just wasn't my thing.

        Mmkay, I don't think you're quite understanding how online games work: They always have a full-time writing staff on hand. Ok? They don't throw them out and rehire them every time they want to add some missions, quests, or during event seasons. They always have a writing staff that is always throwing around ideas. These writers do not in any way hinder what the programmers are doing, until it is time to update and add in the content. Even then, SE is smart enough to have enough programmers so that said update does not hinder progress in projects that have nothing to do with said update.

        "I guess they probably have a deticated writing staff..." Ha! It's "these little events" that let us know that SE isn't just against RMT, but that they care about their game and like to treat their players with a change in pace. Yes, content changes are only every once in a while, but there is a lot of development, editing, and proofreading that has to be done before the update is ready to go. Not to mention cutscene and item development. Did you think that story content updates were one month projects with temporary writers or something?

          I loved the Backstory to this event.. Since i'm in love with the entire FFXI storyline.
          I do love the hat, The event could have been longer.. Like maybe a Haunted house in each nation.. they have one house set to the "haunted status" it's instanced you zone in and the horrors.. begin. Sacrarium would make a GREAT haunted house.. You can encounter all the demon, skeleton, undead type monsters within.. and they appear from nowhere. would be great in my opinion.

            I think the whole storyline was fairly good for the event.....They couldve added more, but maybe they have some other things that will be more benificial to us in Game they were working on at the time....Over all I think the event had a pretty good theme and reward behind it...Good-Job SE...Keep the good ideas comeing to keep us all intrigued what you have up your sleeve next...
