The moogles are in the process of planning another fun-filled Sunbreeze Festival! This year's event will take place starting on July 25th, so grab some sunscreen and head to Vana'diel!

I like the music and fireworks. I don't like the slow-down associated with the fireworks on my machine, but I'm still glad they're there. Indeed, yukatas for all my mules!

And I hope this year there's a reward that doesn't take kabillionty-twelve different crafts to do anything with.

The Sunbreeze Festival is a newer event that I'm not familar with so I looked it up on FFXIclopedia - http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/The_Sunbreeze_Festival%21

I'm interested in the goldfish set. I assume this is a decor item.

The goldfish set is actually just an ingredient in the recipe for a piece of furniture: Goldfish Bowl. (I guess the crafting levels aren't as bad as I rememeber them. I was just all angsty about not having anything near those levels last year.)

You can't, at least not directly. The Goldfish Set is ra/ex.

They tend to change the manner in which you get the rewards from year to year (Yukatas used to take doing the event, last year you could just buy them from Moogles). But last year, the Goldfish Set took turning in a certain number of the fish you could get by goldfish scooping. What some people did was find a crafter with the right levels, and give them all the other ingredients plus enough goldfish to earn a Goldfish Set. So the crafter would turn the fish in, get the set, make the furniture, and give it back to the customer. Kind of a round-about way to go, but it's the only way you can get someone else to craft it for you.

I actually procurred the goldfish set for myself with the hopes that some day in the distant future, I could craft the bowl myself.

I would like to see them come out with a pants or other "armor" in the Yukata vein. Having just the top seems a bit lacking. I have had mine (Lord's Yukata) for 2 years and I love it, though.

Heh, I still have 2 goldfish sets, the fish, and a few other items, but I have yet to make more goldfish bowls @.@ and what stinks even more is that the prices are going to go up cause of the people that want to make them. =/

last years event my LS got together and we all chipped in to get goldfish bowls. It was a fun little event and the bowl looks good in my MH (although i am a sucker for furniture as evidenced by my 67 storage slots) what i am lookin forward to is the new item...whatever that is ::hoping it is the hand armor he suggested::

It would be so nice if they made shops change decoration so it resembled a Japanese festival.

Fireworks, nice music and yukatas what else do you need in life?

YAY!

They better bring back the goldfish scooping, I didn't have the skills to make the goldfish bowl last year and by the time I did, there were no gold fish.

Well, I think you can gold fish at any time, you just need the bowl & the scoops.
