    Fan Festival Welcomes the Star Onions to America!
    (01/15/2006)

    The FINAL FANTASY XI music group The Star Onions will be making their North American debut with a live concert at Fan Festival 2006 at the Santa Monica Pier! Performing songs from their album "Music from the Other Side of Vana'diel," the Star Onions are very excited to greet their fans in America. The group released their first album to US audiences last August via Apple's iTunes service.

    Square Enix is also proud to announce some of the fantastic prizes that Logitech has provided for lucky Fan Festival attendees. For full details on the concert, prizes, and an updated schedule, head over to the Fan Festival 2006 website! Spaces are limited, so register today!

      well, it's not as cool of a name (imo) as The Black Mages but one of the guitarists is part of this group too.

          They shoulda had two events, one on west coast and one on east coast ; ;

                  If you go to the site it tells you all that they have worked on. And yes, for the most part they have all worked on FFXI or another S-E project to some extent.
