    Hey now!! Wait a second!! I want one in the US preferably within 50 miles of my home!! I have first dibs!! ;P

    But it does make you wonder why they don't build at least some type of SE store here in the US or other countries. So many of us gamers import or drool over all the cool stuff they get in Japan. They could really make a killing with a specialty store. Just make sure its the same quality stuff they get in Japan!

      I'm guessing it to have something to do with the difference of population density between Japan & the US. But hey, I'm no economic/business/enterpreneur expert =p

        i'd assume that to be one of the reasons.

        just for the comparison purpose;

        City of Los Angeles (not the County of);
        Population - 3,957,875 (2005, city proper)
        Land Area - 1,214.9 km²

        23 Wards of Tokyo (technically, Tokyo is NOT the name of a city);
        Population - 8,448,695 (July 2005)
        Land Area - 621 km²

        twice as many ppl in half the area. not to mention the City of Yokohama, the 2nd largest city in Japan (considering that the 23 Wards to be the largest), is less than an hour away from Akihabara, where Vana'diel Cafe is located, via a public transportation.

        of course, other factors also need to be considered.
