They were a pre-order bonus item. They give +20% to your experience bonus until you reach level 11. -

So the bonus is only levels 1-9.FFXIV Balmung Server

That is the description on the item, but if you equip the hat at level 10 and perform an experience gaining action, you will see that you still get an experience bonus 20% higher than normal. It actually applies "when level 10 or below."Originally posted by Wise Donkey View PostComment

Thx guys. I have the (imo) awful looking onion helm and the other CE edition bonus one...I forget the name but it has horns o_0!
At least one of those does roughly the same job and looks okeee
