Exactly the same link I provided days earlier. There is no difference as the one I d/l and used automatically updated to a newer version of the client and will continue to do so leading up to Phase 4 opening.

It may be better to think of it as a portal/updater program, since it doesn't have the game data. It's not all that 'final', either--it required an update on first launch, and I'd be mildly surprised if it doesn't get another update or two before the release date.

That's only the open beta download. The rest of the client will be available for launch. Should be about 20 gigs in total.

Also, they did a LOT of changes from P3 - we're gonna have to re-test everything as Aeni and I suspected.

I honestly don't like that they've lowered the max # of attempts when gathering from 6 to 4 or the removal of dark matter from gathering :/

I just hope they bumped up the XP gain to compensate.

Well it says they adjusted the GP cost and effect of all the skills, though nothing on GP recovery rate so... we'll see.

It takes up 20GB uncompressed. The download will be far smaller than that and 7.3GB is actually a pretty reasonable size for all of the game's files when compressed.

Skyrim is a great example, the Steam download is only 5GB but the game takes up 15-20 GB depending on DLC and mods.

I know you guys in the US are probably all asleep now but on opening of the P4 its a JP only situation LOL. All Japanese servers are up, none of the NA or EU servers are.

Could be some kind of staggered login process from SE or it could be a screw up, either way it amused me it favours the Japanese players, who would have imaged that would happen?

Sometimes living in (roughly) the same time zone as Japan isn't a good thing... Nestama (Last Name I've already forgotten) the Roegadyn must live!
