The only Company quests I have left are the Ifrit fight and Something something Devices.

Doing the quests up to that point left me with 2250 seals or so. You think I missed something? <_<;

I'm just doing Company leves in Muy Tuy or whatever it's called. <_<;

Getting 55 seals per run, but still around 7 runs left till I get my license.

Did you not complete the entire company quest line? That should leave you only 25 or so points/seals short of your total goal for the chocobo license. You might be missing a quest or two (these are non-dungeon quests) If you're doing these company leves, then go back and finish off the quest lines as you have more than enough to get your license

You will need to find party members to do a lot of things though. I just had to dig up 3 others to help me with "It Kills With Fire".

Also: Aeni... if he's talking about the Thousand Maws of Toto Rak.... he does need a party to do it. He needs at least 1 more person. Not only that... but he'll have to do it for all 3 nations.

No, trust me, you don't need it for chocobo license. I'm living proof :3 I never NEVER NEVER NEVER grouped since early last year, before the chocobo, before Yoshi-P's influence was beginning to be felt, before the game really changed (for the better) I've pretty much soloed all quests, including the ones that ask for 2 or 3 members. I've never done any dungeons and still got a chocobo license with 50 Storm points left.

Ugh, forced grouping.

I mean if you have people you can do stuff with you'll obviously do it with a party. But if you don't it's just plain discouraging having to shout for the chance that others are stuck in the same mission you are.

I have better things to do than wasting time looking for other people to get things done. That's exactly why I quit XI.

Aw man! We were doing so good. And now I bumped into my first forced party quest.

Screw that, if I wanted forced partying I'd be playing XI.

Worse part is it's part of the Company storyline so I have to do it if I want a Choco.

Actually, you don't need to. I got my chocobo w/o having to do any dungeons.

Inconsistencies in difficulties with mobs and/or a lack of proper identification of group quests. Paladin quest is a prime example. The mobs are 32sh but they hit me (and receive my hits) like they were 38sh (I'm 35 currently) Just as a comparison, Nanawa Mines (sp?) have mobs at or around 32 and I have no problems plowing through them with 3 or 4. I have done leves on this same night with mobs at 32 and no problems.
