Optimal resolution for ffxiv

Hey guys, ever since the last update, for some reason, my viewing resolution reset. I had to go into the ffxiv config and reset what i thought the resolution should be. Well, i can't get it back to how it was. The screen is shifted, or shrunk, it just sucks. Can you guys share with me the resolution you have ffxiv set for? thanks!!!

There is no optimal resolution, because you can't alt-tab from a non-windowed client.

not sure what you mean by "shifted and shrunk"

would a screen shot show it?

He probably means the window is smaller and at a different location on-screen. I run pretty well at a 1600 pixel resolution in windowed mode. Nearly full screen, but I'm able to alt-tab. The window should be able to be dragged to wherever it wanted.

I was able to play aroudn with it and get it fixed. Again, i'm not sure what happened, but the screen when in full screen mode, the center of the actual play screen would be like in the lower right quadrant. I played with the 20 different resolutions in the ffxiv config and found what that ended up working.
