Ok... ready? New question.
Now that I've got all the Aetherite locations and have to kill some time while I wait for my Anima to recharge, I'm working on my crafting like a fiend. The only thing that's holding me back from progressing faster is my limited knowledge of the crafting guild's Mark system.
My questions are 3 fold.
1. Do you actually JOIN a crafting guild (lets just say Weaver since thats what I'm specializing in atm) or do you just do the leve quests offered by the adventurer's guild and earn your marks that way? I've visited the Ul'Dah Weaver's guild and not a single NPC gave me the option of "recruitment" like I expected. If I'm right in thinking that you need to complete crafting guildleves to earn marks, how do you actually go about turning in the finished products? I have had 2 hempen workgloves in my inventory since I accepted and began the "clearing Bentbranch" leve and noone is taking them from me. The NPC I'm supposed to turn them in to keeps telling me that I'm on a deadline and yadda yadda yadda... How in the hell am I supposed to give them to her without a "trade" option for NPCs like FFXI had? Am I doing something wrong or is there a glitch I don't know about?
2. How much of a difference does specialized training actually provide? I know that paying to use a camps facilities adds a substantial bonus to your skill and drastically effects success rates. I just wasn't sure if the training was equally as substantial.
3. If the marks are only gained through completing crafting guildleves, how many do you usually get for completing them? I would assume that ammassing a small casche of marks would take a goodamount of time if you only get a few hundred every time.
That was a few more than 3... I'm noticing that now... but anyone who could give me any kind of insight, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance, TGM. I know you're probably going to snipe the questions first before anyone else, lol.
