Sorry, but after playing endgame in many MMORPG's, I'm jaded. I'll believe people that I know irl that have been banned and claim that it was the companys fault but thats about it. I've GM'd, admined on mIRC/BBS, and been a mod on many a MMO forum, I've seen it and heard it all. 99% of the time the person crying innocent is guilty as hell.

Slap him on ignore and don't allow yourself to be trolled by his moronic posts. He neither plays FFXI or FFXIV yet somehow deludes himself into believing his is the only correct opinion. It's only a shame ignore doesn't work on quoted posts, every now and again I get to see snippets of him going full retard.

Because SE has a great track record with that, amirite? Meanwhile, my still perfectly valid credit card is probably not even usable for XIV if I even tried, thanks to a ridiculous ban based simply on the fact that I changed cards more than twice over the course of five years. (And yes, that's the official reason. "Irregular credit card use," I believe it was. Call me an ass, but if I'd been banned for anything else, I wouldn't bitch about it, because I'd have more than likely deserved it.)

While it's true that a lot of people who are banned are legitimately tardfucks and deserve it, you can't throw every banned person into the same goddamn hat. And again, based on SE's track record with banning people with little rhyme or reason, I'm inclined to give these people the benefit of the doubt.
